Rebirth of Maren's dresser.

Ian and I were sealed in the Colorado Temple; so we thought it would be nice to return with the boys and take family pictures.

At the Denver zoo, Samuel is playing with my hair....This zoo experience was A LOT better than the last. The last time we went to the zoo it was half price day during spring break; it was later recorded that 23 thousand people were at the zoo that day. :( This experience was better.

Riding the Royal Gorge. Samuel like to lay down on the train floor and look through the hole in the floor. There really wasnt much to c, the scenery was the same all the way though.

Family pictures in front of the Pike Peaks sign and a hint of the view.

Playing in the snow.

Pike Peak Cog RR. First time Samuel had seen snow. His favorit thing in the world ( besides cars) is kicking dirt and snow proved to be just as fun. By the time we reloaded the train his feet, socks and pants were all wet. The view is breath taking if you get a seat on the left side of the train, on the right you will get to see rocks! :) Ian said that he would like to ride his motorcycle to the top...

As kids Christian and I would walk on the train tracks at my grandmas house; so while the train was stopped at the midway point I took Samuel to the train yard so he could give it a try.

Geogetown, Co. A Beautiful old mining town that has been restored. The old mining train track have also be relaid and now you can ride the train up the mountain. The changing Aspens r beautiful!

Camping South of Salida, Co

First time camping with both the boys.Ian made the fire while i sliced up the food and Samuel played by the stream. Man it was cold; got down to + /- 10 degrees that nite. We slept with lots of clothes on & with a mound of blankets. Samuel slept good but Ethan did not want his hands under the covers; would wake up if we covered them. The next morning our hand were frozen after taking down the wet tent so we opted for breakfast in town.

Just a start

Since the word blog, to me, sounds like someone throwing up we're going to call this our family web page. :))
